Parliamentary Launch of The Partition Memorial Trust
On 28 October 2025, we officially launched the Partition Memorial Trust at the Houses of Parliament, hosted by Warinder Juss MP.
In 2027, it will be the 80th anniversary of the Partition of India and the creation of Pakistan (East and West). We aim to create a permanent memorial to the 1947 Partition of India in Central London. Your advice and involvement would be invaluable, and with your support, we can help make this memorial a reality.
The Parliamentary event brought together survivors, MPs, Peers, Ministers, business developers, funders and key stakeholders.
Partition tore apart a whole region at immense human cost, and remains a stark reminder of how polarisation fractures communities. The memorial will both honour its victims and serve as a space for reflection, remembrance, education, and warning against the dangers of division today.
Your support will help ensure the lessons of Partition are remembered and its legacy preserved for future generations.
